We’re delighted to announce the progress made on our latest water project in the village of Rugando, South West Uganda, which was made possible by Matt Seeney’s personal donation.
Matt employers at Advance Resource Managers had awarded him a sales bonus of an all expenses paid holiday to Japan, but Matt asked for the cash value of his bonus to be gifted to No More Durty Water, funding the cost of a Protected Spring in full. Our fulfillment partners Bidge of Hope Children’s Ministry had already identified a suitable site at Rugando and Matt’s generosity will result in a Protected Spring being fully operational by Christmas. Many thanks to Matt and ARM for making this happen, it will be the best Christmas present the community could have.
These photos show the current inadequate and dirty water supply and the skill of the workmen and our water engineer as the muddy site is cleared and a Protected Spring built.
Welcome to Rugando!
