No More Durty Water is delighted to announce that our latest project, a Protected Spring built for community of Mutara village in SW Uganda, is open. Click here for photos of the new project before, during and after construction.

The site was identified by engineers working for our fulfilment partner Bridge of Hope Children’s Minsitry in May of this year. The village of Mutara is situated in the remote Rukungiri district near the border of Uganda and Rwanda and the community desperately needed clean water as they were forced to collect dirty water from a small pond. Clean water is a basic human right and this community can now draw clean water from the new spring for years to come  – a life changing legacy.

The site was developed within 4 weeks for a cost of £1200, raised by Charlie Waddington’s Southsea Old Guard DJ events at the Wine Vaults in November 2017 and April 2018. Big shout to Charlie for all his hard work and thanks to every DJ who gave their time.
