No More Durty Water is delighted to announce the pre-release sale of tickets for Monkey P 10, our commemorative event to mark 10 years since the passing of Paul Keeler aka DJ Monkey P, the driving force behind the charity.
DURTY SOUND SYSTEM – THE FINAL JAM
SATURDAY 17 MAY @THE WEDGEWOOD ROOMS 8-LATE
Paul’s sonic creation, The Durty Sound System, will be booming one last time as we celebrate his life in music.
Paul’s DJ’s partners from his club nights and events will be appearing throughout the night, including DJ’s from:
JUS JUS
SOUL 45
MONKEY LOVE STUNT TEAM
BRING THE NOIZE
GRAPEVINE
DURTY 45’s
FUNK KLUB
SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN
THE GO-OFF
Expect all killer, no filler sets from a stellar line-up of Southsea’s finest DJ’s, each with their own musical connection to Paul.
In the main room we’ll be bringing the party big-time, dropping the funky beats, filthy basslines and downright durty grooves that rammed the floor back in the day. Meanwhile The Edge of the Wedge will be hosting “Back to Paul’s” where anything goes, representing the eclectic chaos you would find as Paul welcomed you to a cheeky after-party at his place.
In short, the night will be a feast for your ears and dancing feet, as we join together on the dancefloor to celebrate the man and his music.
This is an exclusive pre-release for friends of Paul, so get your tickets now on this link at £10+ BF, with all proceeds to No More Durty Water.
