Our next fundraising event on Saturday August 5th – The Three Musketeers at The Edge Of The Wedge

Three Musketeers at The Edge Of The Wedge 5 August

The Three Musketeers aka DJ’s Jonty, Marc Flood and Pink Panther bring the noise to The Edge Of The Wedge on Saturday 5th August from 8pm. Admission is free with donations on the door to No More Durty Water.

Get your glad rags and dancing shoes on as the Three Musketeers ride the decks in aid of No More Durty Water. Fresh from whipping up a storm at the Summer Love festival, Jonty makes a welcome return to the home of The Fishtank where he made his name. Known for consistently rocking the floor with his mix of chunky uplifting house and big rollin’ beats, don’t miss Jonty’s return to Albert Road.

Marc Flood is another Southsea legend and festival floor-filler, having smashed it at Riba Rocks, Bugged Out and his own Tomaito Tomato nights with deeper underground vibes. Marc drops warped and dirty basslines over nasty tech-house and twisted vocals to devastating effect, throwing in some exclusive cuts from his own productions for good measure.

Expect the unexpected as Pink Panther from Serbia makes his debut on the south coast. Bringing an eclectic blend of juicy drum & bass and bouncy progressive grooves, Pink Panther will lead you directly to the dancefloor.

All for one and one for all, these Three Musketeers invite you to join them for a hot summer night of bumping tunes on a sweet sound system at The Edge Of The Wedge 147b Albert Road, Southsea PO4 0JW. £1,757 raised – thanks for your support

The Trustees, on behalf of N.M.D.W. would just like to say a big thank you for your contribution towards the celebration evening held for Paul at the Coastguard Studios on the 18th June. Through your support, donations, ticket monies, prizes and raffle purchases we managed to raise an amazing £1,757.00 on the evening.
This amount is more than enough for N.M.D.W. to fund the building of another Protected Fresh Water Spring in Uganda and contribute monies towards other clean drinking water projects.
We shall keep you updated on these projects as they progress and look forward to your continuing support of which Paul would have been proud of.

Walk 4 Water on the Millennium Promenade

walk4water

Wow! Another fundraiser for No More Durty Water by students of South Downs College.

Walk 4 Water Charity Event – A group of music students will perform Busk-Walk on Millennium Promenade on the new arranged date of Saturday 30th May. Midday to Afternoon.

The Millennium Walk

Three kilometres of promenade now links Portsmouth’s historic waterfront. The route starts from Spur Redoubt near Clarence Pier, Southsea and finishes on The Hard, taking in Old Portsmouth, the Camber and Gunwharf Quays.

The walkway has been built of the highest quality natural stone and opened up waterfront  land that had been closed to the public for centuries.

The route is indicated by a chain motif set into the surface, symbolising partnership between the communities of Portsmouth and Gosport and between past and present. Historically it also refers to the chain, which used to be tightened across the harbour entrance at times of potential attack.

Column-mounted lanterns light the promenade, designed to reflect the historic character of blue lights at night that are strung around the harbour.

Please come along and join in the fun, and help this group of music students save lives.
