From the generous donations given at the Psychedelia for No More Durty Water event at The Blind Tiger Club in May 2013, the Calcutta Rescue team has now installed an arsenic filter in the village of Goria Nagar in the Malda district, India. The community can now enjoy clean drinking water as a result of music and art provided by Black Market Karma, Kassassin Street, Carmen Rosa, Oh Captain!, Cassettelord, Atomsphere, El Winlove, David Neal and Partial Facsimile. We shall continue raising money and awareness through the means of music and art, starting with Southsea Old Guard First XI at the Little Johnny Russels in Southsea THIS SATURDAY 14th November. This event is to commemorate comrade DJ Monkey P, the initiator of No More Durty Water, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Come down and enjoy 11 wicked DJs spin records from 1 PM till late and donate money you can spare to help more people gain access to clean drinking water. After all it is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT!
