No More Durty Water Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas

What a wonderful year for No More Durty Water. We have raised enough money to buy and install 2 rainwater harvesters, and a protected water spring, Rukungiri, West Uganda. Plus we now have another money for another protected, which the Bridge Of Hope Children’s Ministry will be looking for another location in January.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and attended the events. We have met some wonderful people.

Grapevine.Good For Your Soul

We would like to announce that GRAPEVINE raised £722.34 at their Christmas Party for No More Durty Water.
The event was held at The Kings, Southsea on Saturday 10th December. A big thank you to everyone who attended this event, the Funk Brother Deejays, Steve Laming & to Mark James for running a quality event.

The money raised is over halfway towards another protected spring, which will be set up by the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry, for another village and surroundings area in Uganda. Watch this space for full details.

15 Months & £3,365.72

15 months ago we had our first No More Durty Water event at the Wine Vaults in Southsea. The total raised so far is £3,365.72. Which is a great start, and really started to improve peoples lives. This is is just the start.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated money and time to helping us get this project off the ground. We have met some truly amazing people on this journey.

We are off to the Amakuru VDub next weekend in the Durty 45 Bus, to raise even more funds and awareness. Our target is to break the £4000 before October.

We have 65 more ‘Viva Durty 45′ t-shirts for sale, designed by Tristan Savage of Strong Island. A steal at £10, with ALL THE MONEY going to No More Durty Water. This is the last print run of these wonderful tees, so make sure you get one at Amakuru VDub.

Success! The Rainwater Harvesters are now collecting water for the Children’s Village.

Latest Photos From Uganda

We are very excited at the HQ, now that the Rainwater Harvesters are ready to start collecting rainwater for the children’s village in Rukungiri, Uganda. It is an amazing feeling to have raised the money for this project. Big thank you to the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry for getting us involved, and all the hard work that went into this project.

We Love Grapevine

Grapevine had its second birthday party in aid of No More Durty Water. It was an amazing party and raised £780 for our next water project. A big thank you to all who attended, and everyone at the Kings.

We Love Soul

Portsmouth’s Soul & Motown Revue has its second birthday party in aid of No More Durty Water.

2 floor Soul party celebrating 2 years of Grapevine. The foot stomping jump up sound of soul motown and R&b with that snap crackle and pop of original forty fives. To help us celebrate our birthday we have invited some heavyweight djs and collectors of soul funk and rare groove to funk up the party as we take over both floors of the Kings.

Raising funds for water projects in 2011, working with Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry.
