Durty 45 Bus Returns For 2012

The Durty 45 Bus had an amazing first year, going down a storm at CamperJam, Beach Buggin’, Amakuru Vdub and Southsea Bandstand.
The engine has been rebuilt, so the Bus is ready for promoting for No More Durty Water in Summer 2012.

As you can see from the photographs, there was a few changes along the way. The stage had to go, as needed another bus to get it there, which is not very environmental. A professional tent was purchased to go over the whole thing, making Durty 45 Bus fully weather proof and safe.

DATES FOR 2012……More to be Confirmed.

6th – 8th July – CamperJam

2nd – 6th August – V Dub Island
12th August – Beach Buggin

Everyone involved with the Durty 45 Bus, works for free, and even pays for the fuel. There is no cost to the festivals, unless they would like to make a donation to No More Durty Water.

If your interested in the Durty 45 Bus attending your event visit Durty 45 page or email paul@nomoredurtywater.org.

No More Durty Water Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas

What a wonderful year for No More Durty Water. We have raised enough money to buy and install 2 rainwater harvesters, and a protected water spring, Rukungiri, West Uganda. Plus we now have another money for another protected, which the Bridge Of Hope Children’s Ministry will be looking for another location in January.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and attended the events. We have met some wonderful people.

This would not been possible without the contribution of the following people and organisations. Barbara & Geoff, Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry, Shelley Bond & the CamperJam team, Ally & Dave Beach Buggin, Ali and everyone at Amakuru Vdub, Little Johnny Russells, The Kings Pub, Grapevine, Kassassin Street, Carmen Rosa, Gaz & Booth, Dan Clarke, Tristan Savage, Mark James, Damon Sirena, Dj Spence, Jim Shaw, Micah Stafford, Steve Laming, Ms Mono, Bexie Williams, Gary Samways, Aimee Newman, Macer Brown, Bionic Bill, & Durty 45 Bus, Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you all.

15 Months & £3,365.72

15 months ago we had our first No More Durty Water event at the Wine Vaults in Southsea. The total raised so far is £3,365.72. Which is a great start, and really started to improve peoples lives. This is is just the start.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated money and time to helping us get this project off the ground. We have met some truly amazing people on this journey.

We are off to the Amakuru VDub next weekend in the Durty 45 Bus, to raise even more funds and awareness. Our target is to break the £4000 before October.

We have 65 more ‘Viva Durty 45′ t-shirts for sale, designed by Tristan Savage of Strong Island. A steal at £10, with ALL THE MONEY going to No More Durty Water. This is the last print run of these wonderful tees, so make sure you get one at Amakuru VDub.

Success! The Rainwater Harvesters are now collecting water for the Children’s Village.
