Durty 45 Bus Returns For 2012

The Durty 45 Bus had an amazing first year, going down a storm at CamperJam, Beach Buggin’, Amakuru Vdub and Southsea Bandstand.
The engine has been rebuilt, so the Bus is ready for promoting for No More Durty Water in Summer 2012.

As you can see from the photographs, there was a few changes along the way. The stage had to go, as needed another bus to get it there, which is not very environmental. A professional tent was purchased to go over the whole thing, making Durty 45 Bus fully weather proof and safe.

DATES FOR 2012……More to be Confirmed.

6th – 8th July – CamperJam

2nd – 6th August – V Dub Island
12th August – Beach Buggin

Everyone involved with the Durty 45 Bus, works for free, and even pays for the fuel. There is no cost to the festivals, unless they would like to make a donation to No More Durty Water.

No More Durty Water Fundraising at Little Johnny Russells


We are very happy to report that the No More Durty Water Fundraiser featuring DURTY 45 raised £846.42.

The event was held at Little Johnny Russells, Southsea on Friday 16th December. A big thank you to everyone who attended this event, and donated generously. Many thanks to everyone at Little Johnny Russells. Big shout out to James, the Door staff, Mark James, Dj Spence, Dj Foghorn & Monkey Paul.

The money raised from this event, and last weeks GRAPEVINE will enable us to buy another protected spring, which will be set up by the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry, for another village and surroundings area in Uganda.

An amazing end to a fantastic year! We have a few projects in the pipeline for 2012.

Grapevine.Good For Your Soul

We would like to announce that GRAPEVINE raised £722.34 at their Christmas Party for No More Durty Water.
The event was held at The Kings, Southsea on Saturday 10th December. A big thank you to everyone who attended this event, the Funk Brother Deejays, Steve Laming & to Mark James for running a quality event.

The money raised is over halfway towards another protected spring, which will be set up by the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry, for another village and surroundings area in Uganda. Watch this space for full details.

A trip to the seaside with Durty 45 Bus

Durty 45 Bus was once again out on the campaign trail for No More Durty Water, this time at Beach Buggin. The ultimate VDUB show by the beach due to our amazing location on Southsea Common in the heart of the seafront.
Over 1050 cars attending the show and enjoyed a lazy, laid back day in the sunshine with the Durty 45 Bus providing the soundtrack.

A big thank you to Ali, Dave and Beach Buggin crew for getting the Durty 45 Bus & No More Durty Water involved.

New friends & connections made, flyers given out, t-shirts sold and a great reaction for the Durty 45 Bus. Going to a very busy summer 2012 for the bus supporting No More Durty Water.

Latest Photos From Uganda

We are very excited at the HQ, now that the Rainwater Harvesters are ready to start collecting rainwater for the children’s village in Rukungiri, Uganda. It is an amazing feeling to have raised the money for this project. Big thank you to the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry for getting us involved, and all the hard work that went into this project.

This would not of been possible without everyone who attended the No More Durty Water events. See you at the next party.

Fundraising with a VW Camper and a few 45s

Durty 45 Bus took No More Durty Water to the people at Camper Jam. Apart from entertaining with the finest selection of vinyl 45s, their mission was to raise awareness and cash. Sold t-shirts, gave out stickers and leaflets.

DURTY 45 kicked of the No More Durty Water fundraising for 2011, with a fantastic party raising £700 we required to finish the rainwater harvesters project for the Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry.

Durty 45 Wants Clean Water

No More Durty Water returns for 2011, with two fundraisers for Bridge Of Hope Children’s Ministry.

First Up is ‘D U R T Y 4 5′ at Little Johnny Russells for another off the hook party.

  • Expect a party extravaganza with a soundtrack to rival most.

Deejays Macaco Do Paolo & Che Sirena de Niebla play the finest selection of vinyl 45s.

  • With special guest Ms Mono (Big Chill Bar)

Its not just about old classic 45s. The 7″ record has made a comeback, with labels like Sunday Best, Third Man Records, Wah Wah 45s, First Word Records and XL Recordings, to name a few, producing them. There is still some fascination with these shiny pieces of plastic. .
