Durty 45 Bus

Last summer the Durty Sound System took their Durty 45 night on the road in a 1978 Volkswagon Bus, appearing at various festivals, sharing lovely vibes, good times and promoting No More Durty Water.

There has been a few changes to the look, due to the experience of last year. Firstly making ourselves all weather proof, at some points it was like djing in a kite. Secondly improving on the quality of the sound, while actually taking less equipment. Thirdly the engine has been rebuilt by Laurie Pettitt, which is in the process of being fitted.

The Durty 45 Bus is curated and maintained by Dj Monkey Paul. No funds from No More Durty Water are used for the bus, equipment, or the records. Even the cash for gas comes out of the teams own pockets. So all cash raised from donations and t-shirts goes to the charity.

This summer the Durty 45 Bus will be back on the road spreading the word about No More Durty Water.

This year we have two options available to festival organisers. There is last years free option, which helps us to fully promote the charity, allowing us to collect donations and sell t-shirts. We appreciate this option is not always possible for some festivals due to having nominated sponsors.

Introducing a stealth option this year. Where your event gets the Durty 45 Bus without us promoting the charity. In lieu of this we would like a payment in the form of a donation to the charity of around £150 a day, perhaps £450 for a whole weekend. People that are interested in Durty 45 Bus, after the festival can read all about the charity on our various social media sites.
